Account and Data Deletion
We respect your right to delete your personal data. Below we explain how you can request the deletion of your account and what data is deleted.
How to request deletion
You can request the deletion of your account and personal data in the following ways:
Option 1: From the app
Within the ReAnota app, go to Settings > Account > Delete account. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm deletion.
Option 2: By email
Send an email to support@reanota.com with the subject "Account deletion request" and include the email associated with your account. We will process your request within a maximum of 30 days.
Data that is deleted
When you delete your account, the following are permanently removed:
- Your user profile and access credentials.
- All your notes, annotations, quotes and saved fragments.
- Your books and documents registered in the library.
- Your categories, tags and custom settings.
- Files and images you have uploaded.
- AI query history.
Data that may be retained
Some data may be retained on a limited basis when there is a legal obligation or a legitimate interest to do so:
- Transaction or payment records (if applicable), in accordance with tax regulations.
- Anonymized technical logs for security and fraud prevention purposes.
- Data necessary to resolve pending claims.
Such data will be retained for the legally required period and deleted afterwards.
Execution timeline
Deletion will be executed within a maximum of 30 calendar days from the confirmation of the request. During this period, your account will be deactivated.
Consequences of deletion
- Deletion is irreversible. You will not be able to recover your data once processed.
- You will lose access to all content stored in the app.
- If you have an active subscription, you must cancel it beforehand in the corresponding app store.
